solid ice, 35-40 feet (12-13m) in height - you can look deep into the ice here

this small mountain of ice is separated from the bulk of Sheridan - I climbed through crevasses in this mini-glacier, and we sledded down one side of it out onto the frozen lake. I estimate the height at close to 100 feet

What is there not to love about Cordova? Note the time is 3:45 PM, right about sunset this time of year.

Cordova's New Boat Harbor can be seen to the right, and the body of water visible contains numerous sandbars which lie just below the surface.
