Hi Ken , I tried the address you left but no joy, it did suggest Staithes.co.uk which decribes itself as a non profit org, is that the right one ?

I do have pics that would be to printable standard for a calendar and would be happy to let you use them for free provided there was a name credit and contact details should anyone want prints .

Hi John

I presume this was taken from the British Waterways Museum at Fradley? It rolls back the years!

All the best Peter

Hi John

Lovely picture. I remember crossing the bridge some years ago and up to the hills to see the view from the other side. I must scan the pictures and post them some day!

Best wishes Peter

Hi John

Came to your gallery from BrownhillsBob and the Church at Middleton. Bob seems to have taken the same shots as myself. I will look out for the Volvo!

I have a picture of the Fradley Pool click here

And for an interesting anecdote about it see the comments below the picture fron the Coventry Canal here.

Best wishes Peter

As it happens, it can be spelled either way. Go and check Wikipedia, as did I.

There is only one h in the contraction ah. And it appears you don't have much command of Capitalisation.

In 1961 I was the 'Gardener' here. No wire fence then, or heli-pad. Just rocks and pebbles. My job consisted of arranging the rocks and pebbles into terraces, to make them look pretty! Of course frequently, the sea washed everything away and I had to start again. Well, at that time there were worse jobs in the RN! Thanks for the memories JW

I feel I know this little boat. Maybe I saw it somewhere... :) Nice image with plenty of 'isolation'. Like it. JW

Hi Mark, The Aston & Erdington Society like to think they own it! We know e don't of course, but we still named it - Nemo. Soon it will be a very apt name! Cheers..
