This shot was rather hard to take. I had to kneel in a bog and hold my camera out beyond some reeds and position it just above the water surface. I couldn't see what I was taking so took about 3 pics of which this was the best.

That is a beautiful shot you took; it's probably the only time of the day when the birds are relatively quiet!

Hi Steve-O Great photos but I have had to send a suggestion to shift the photo of kayaks at Tarakohe. I live at Tarakohe and used to be a kayak guide here. I think the photo is at Bark Bay but not quite sure. Cheers River

You live in such a nice place. I visited nearly 20 countries and so far, New Zealand is for me the most beautiful country visited so far. We spent 3 months going all around. I don't perticurlarly remember Motupipi but I know I been there, amongst all the nice villages and towns!
