Good one, Jimmy!!!! Actually my memories of Rishton, from the perspective of living in Paradise - sorry - New Zealand - are all rather foggy! Mind you, I left Rishton 53 years ago! I went to Rishton Primary school which was behind me when I took that Rishton photograph.
Just returned from Lake Mavis - what an awesome place! Camped where you did and heard kiwis close by in the night - had no idea they went so high. Pity we had no snow.
I enjoyed your 2 'typical day' photos. My brother travelled to NZ a few years back and sent me pics of the Milford Track. I think he really enjoyed his stay there, I just live vicariously through him and great photographers like yourself. Thanks for your insight..
