on Google Maps
Hello. Many years ago I discovered the Panoramio layer in Google earth. I loved the concept, it greatly improved the GE user experience. I was happy to learn that I could contribute too. So, in August 2008 I decided to join the fun. This gallery is mainly for photos destined for Google earth, but there are some other photos here too. Some photos are simply "point and click" photos taken on the run. Others are more elaborate, being more artistic or planed in general. I am just a happy amateur which love to take pictures, and hate missed opportunities for a good photo. I am especially fond of HDR picures, and to make large panorama sceneries. I'm also trying to make better low light photos and want to improve my photo skills in general. ________________________________________ I'm from and living in Norway, the rocky European outpost in the northern Atlantic ocean. I love a good walk in the mountains and a god bicycle ride. ________________________________________ I've been a Panoramio Forum moderator since September 2011, for English and Scandinavian languages. Wonderful Picture!!!!

Grazie, CosaVedere, la fiera di Milano ha tante belle cose da vedere come struttura, a prescindere da quello che presenta ogni volta. Sono andata a vedere il vostro blog. Niente Portogallo? ciao,Daniela

Thank you Mariano! Greetings from Norvay.

Yes lizab! For me Norway is most attractive place in Europe. This time we had about 3 weeks there, but had a lot of rainy days this time. :(

Many thanks for your visit and comments – Greetings from Athens - Christos

Ain't it fantastic?

Regards, Lizab.

Yep Roar, I've got a feeling of meaning for some Norwegian words. -holmen is for rocks in the sea and flat peninsulas; -oya is for larger islands. I am not sure about -kjaeret and -kjaeran. Probably another kind of islands?

-Botn for the end of the fjord or bay, -pollen, -fjord, bukta, -vik and -vika, for bays;

-vatn and vatnet for lakes...

I guess Norwegian has a rich set of names (with subtle differences) for especially coastal landscape features, which we (inland rats) do not have?

Weather was rather "challenge" this time. Here is weather report in comments:

Sounds good, Roar! So you have to collect only couple of other pieces and you can repeat the expedition!
