Thanks Kenny for your kind words. With good weather you almost cannot miss a great shot around here ;) 200+mm lens help to get closer to the mountains without having to walk long distances ... good time saver .. and also helps to cope with very fast changing weather .. when the light is good it's time to take the photo ;)
I'm a global nomad, a person who had an internationally mobile childhood due to my father’s work. If you ask where I am from there is no short answer. For me, home is everywhere and nowhere. I was born in Africa and later grew up in Central America, South East Asia and Europe. Then I returned to Latin America and Africa just before going to University in Europe and North America. We are presently based in the Scottish countryside 20 km west of Aberdeen (UK). Scotland has such beautiful and fast changing landscapes - you can really get ‘4 seasons in one day’ as the Scots say. I currently work for Shell Exploration and Production UK as Senior Geomatician in the Europe Data Acquisition and Management department. Just before coming to Scotland we stayed for 3 years in Colombo, Sri Lanka where I worked for the International Water Management Institute (IWMI) and the Challenge Program on Food, Water and the Environment (CPWF) as a Spatial Data Warehouse Architect.
