check out Edradour distillery while you are there, its less than a mile away, farther up the hill. Its the smallest distillery in scotland and has an excellent tour, cafe and gift shop. If you buy a coffee in the cafe you get to keep the souvenir mug which is very nice.

Thanks for your comment Andrew. Shame the little fish in the bottom RH corner doesn't show just how big this tranquil thing was.... I reckoned it was about 1 metre across, but the wife wouldn't get in to confirm it with a tape measure!
