There is a narrow channel in the outer reef around Bermuda that leads you to the wrecks of the Montana (sank 1863) and Constellation (sank 1943). They are so near to the surface that you can see the detail as you look down from your fishing boat. The wrecks formed the basis of the story for Peter Benchley's novel "The Deep". Close by is the wreck of the Lartington (sank 1878). This is indeed a graveyard of the Atlantic with over 350 documented wrecks around Bermuda.
