Awesome quality. Colour, clarity and form are first-rate. Is this picture on sale in the tourist shops in Dunkeld? It should be. My "pic of the day"! N.

Thank you.
The water nymphs were real and consented to being in the photo.
Google Earth's cloud screen is a bit of a handicap for this part of the world, isn't it?

You are driving along the lonliest road and suddenly an orange snake appears to be lying on the moorland to the east.
To establish new woodland in an area grazed by sheep and deer, owners have resorted to fencing, but this has been shown to kill native birds, particularly grouse, so at great expense orange plastic netting has been added - miles and miles of it!

You had a lovely day! Your picture is quite inviting and peaceful. I have just uploaded the same view, which you will see when it becomes available, is just more closely cropped. I find it more menacing as the mountain front fills the view. It would be good to see more of your mountain pictures. NB.

Very sad to hear this wonderful old house has been badly damaged by fire. This could be a historic picture.

One man's dumping is another's surreal statement.

Yes, so will I, it's a lovely spot. There's many a time I've caught the Mull ferry from that slipway.
Interesting transparent light.

Each pair of gannets nests on this sloping rock just far enough from the next pair so as not to get skewered by a long dagger-like beak. Gannetries are wonderful sights, but threatened, as are all marine wildlife, by overfishing, pollution and climate change. Here at nearly 61 degrees N (see world map)we are on the same latitude as the north side of Hudson's Bay, and kept ice free by the North Atlantic current. There's a chance that could be disrupted by polar melting. It won't be global warming here!
