TamaraNW's conversations

Lived there in 1966-67. Great place to hunt quail.

Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful photos. I will never get to go to some of the places I would like to go, as there are just too many of them. With people putting up photos like this I get to go all kind of places and see it through your eyes. Take care!

I live in Klamath Falls... LOVE your photo. WOW!

I looked at your gallery and am impressed with the quality and attention to descriptive detail in your titles. I appreciate your comment about my Mt. Mc Loughlin picture. I am certain I climbed it in 1980 and took that picture from high on the eastern shoulder. If I have any doubt at all, it would be the identity of the body of water viewed in the distance over the whitebark pine, but i have confidence that it is Klamath Lake. Have you climbed Mt. Mc Loughlin? It is an easy long walk. I could email you more pictures from that climb to help you identify the mountain...Otherwise, keep exploring and taking pictures---you are enriching peoples' lives with your documentation. Cheers from Michigan, Joel

The building on the left is the "Country Hearth" restaurant and the food is fab! But it's all made from scratch from a very small staff (the owner does the baking) so don't be in a hurry. If you are, stop in and get some doughnuts to-go, you won't be disappointed! Oh, and say hi to Janet from the K.J.
