Pedro Calisto's conversations

The title is wrong. It is NOT a lake in a volcano in a lake in a volcano! It is an island (growing into the plug of a new volcano) in a lake (crater lake) in an island (Taal Volcano Island) in a lake (Lake Taal) in a volcano (Philippines) in a lake (Pacific Ocean). Do not visit Philippines without going there. Start at Talisay Marketplace (parking), boat to the island (1500 php), then walk up to the top of the track (1-1.5 hours), with maybe one or two horses for a small group, cold drinks 50 php at the top. They serve free ice-cold beer at the top. Watch out for jets of steam next to yellow sulphur deposits on the rocks, then WALK down (30 minutes), let the horses go alone. Going down a steep track on a horse is dangerous, if you can walk. Try to support those lovely people by buying things here and there. The first ever cafe just opened by the landing point. As you climb UP, see a very steep mountain on your right, Binintiang Malaki (Big leg). They say it is NOT a volcano, but it IS, just dormant for 1000 years. Nobody is allowed there, as it is so steep and dangerous. I go there very often; great place! Take goggles (bushes have terrible long thorns), gloves, long sleeves, long socks and long Pants, or you will regret it. Do not hold grass to help you. It will cut your fingers off. Nice flat grassy place to camp on the north face, can't miss it. We call it "Blood island Volcano" because there is no blood (until you hold the grass), it's not an island, and it is not an active volcano. I have written a 4 page history of Taal Volcano, full of beautiful personal accounts and stories since 1515. Nobody going to Taal or Binintiang must wear slippers (flip-flops, sandals). You will see dead slippers on the tracks everywhere, and rocks will burn your bare feet. If you want my "essay" by email, just ask. I can also give you a good contact for boat, horses, guides etc. Taal is my Fairy Wonderland. I am at andygudgy at gmail dott com or 09199 764826 or text Maridio 099944 52439 Dr Andy Gudgeon Oh, by the way, I lied about the free cold beer.

Não é a entornar ! A maré estava a encher, e fica mais pesado para montante, para norte, portanto ! A fisica explica isto tudo...

tens que escolher nas definilões da foto que é 'panoramic sphere' e depois voltar a submeter ;)

E o cisne? Não é preciso identificação. Até precisava dum fotógrafo para uma festa lol Mas a sério tens talento.

Apenas tive a ver as fotos de vários locais, alguns apenas, 4 principalmente... e a tempestade chamou-me atenção... Tudo de bom e continua com a área da fotografia, davas um bom fotógrafo, pensa nisso, nunca é tarde.

Quem me dera que todo o passeio seja assim:-)
