It was great looking at the photos after a long while, lived next to the place less then 100 Meters at the house in the corner, Summer 2005/06. Like to fish there to.

I tried to upload a couple of photos of this place and the surrounding buildings I took when I lived in the next building north (the one with the green dome) in 2003. It was not this nice then. lol. no water in the pool, we were essentially squatting.

Ahhhh, remember this store in sun and storm.

All of your pics taken here are good, but the visitors center is the Havelock Visitors Center, not Cherry Point. The aircraft are all from MCAS Cherry Point, and most of the exhibits inside are about MCAS CP, but the visitors center is incorrectly identified. The aircraft shown in the picture is an RF-4. The helicopter shown in one of your others is "Pedro" the Search and Rescue (SAR) CH-46 which is still flown at MCAS CP.
