Seeing these photos bring back Fond Childhood Memories. Few people today Know or remember what this Lake was like back in the Late 50's - 60's. Fewer still can recall a Little old Lady or her half blind husband, who took care of some of the cottages during Winter, They were Laura & Levi Richards, Both Passed away now, But much Loved & Missed. Back in the day, one could Row out on the lake ( Without fear of Speeding Motor craft ) & fish for, Bluegill, Sunfish, Bass, Perch, & Every now & then Pike. 8-point never did have a " Drop-Off " , Rather, it slowly got deeper towards the middle { Approx 40 Ft. Deep ) In some areas with water so clear, one could nearly see bottom, This was Very common during the Ice Fishing season. one year the Ice got around 18 inches thick, so thick some drove their Pickups out to set up their shanties. How does a Texan Know all of this?, Well About 2 Miles south of the Center of the lake was the Home of Jesse Richter & Family, That's how I Know, I'm Jesse's only son & now an Old-Timer myself. Please take care of that lake, Thousands have called it Home for over 90 Years. Thank-you for this posting A.J.R. {QUESTER550}

That's sure one high grown rose, Bobes! Reckon the 3rd or 4th floor. Must be one of those 'new' long stem roses...;-) Cheers from New Zealand!

Thank you. I'm really not sure whose plane this is. I was just visiting a friend in the area. The pilot, whoever they were, seemed to be having a great time! It was good entertainment watching as well.
