I visited Weiler Im Allgau from Australia in 2002 for a training course with my Company (Rohde and Schwarz) at the Tannenhof Hotel. I took a couple of photos of the scenery from the upper floor of one of the hotel buildings with my new Kodak digital camera with 2 Megapixel resolution ( mobile phone cameras have much more than that nowadays). Sadly I didn't get time to explore the area but I enjoyed the atmosphere and the ambience of the place. Even the heady smell of the farmer nearby spreading fertiliser made me realise that this was after all a rural area.
