Just say Get Out of Cuba scum Yankees

I was there in the summer of 1992. I was in one of the last classes of Security Force Battalion to go thru there (what they told us anyways). I remember the O-Course in front of it down by the water. Lower right corner of the building (as you are looking at it) was the Armory. Admin was on lower left. The Attic was huge, where we would have our Self defense training (boxing matches). The giant left column of windows and the right column of windows were giant squad bays (three stories of them each), and the middle of the building had some private rooms (I caught double pneumonia while I was there, so I got held back and got a private room).

Ended up going to the USS Carl Vinson and then on to NSB Kings Bay. Some really crappy duty stations there I tell ya.

Really strange to see it in this condition. I'm really surprised it is still there.

HEY BACK IN 1983, I HAD TO RAISE THAT FLAG TOO WHEN E CO. 2ND BAT 5TH MARINES WAS ON GUARD DUTY.

I used to train on that thing! We used it for Crash Fire Rescue Training. Lit the whole bitch up from the inside.

Prime for trout fishing in the spring. Was just here in March 08. Loved it.

Nice picture. The Jeep in the back looks familiar, maybe because it's mine. :)
