CE CIMETIERE EST SITUE SUR LA COMMUNE DE HAUCOURT VOISINE DE VIS EN ARTOIS
I knew a simple soldier boy
Who grinned at life in empty joy,
Slept soundly through the lonesome dark,
And whistled early with the lark.
To remember the 11 soldiers of Abbotsford and Langley who fell at Vimy Ridge, our family placed a bouquet for each one of them.
I took this photo at the end of a long day, the last of 15 Commonwealth WWI Cemeteries we visited to place flowers in remembrance of fallen soldiers from the Fraser Valley region of British Columbia, Canada
