Beautiful photo. I spent some time near this very spot in August 1975 all by myself. Colden was still covered in snow drifts at the top. Things have definately gotten warmer since then. The water running off from all the melting snow was intense during the day.

You can walk or bike up the trials but this is the better way to go.
