After Cash's death the house was bought by Barry Gibb of the Bee Gees. Whilst some workmen were renovating the house, one of them lit a blow torch & the house set on fire. I believe that they are going to preserve the site in memory of the Cash's.
I noticed the fencing in the right foreground. When I was there in Jan. 2007, there was a construction project starting there, a huge, gaping hole being dug as a foundation, I guess? What is being built there, Nashvillians? Just curious. And, is it done?
