Hammerhead is correct and wrong at the same time. ALL electricity from Arizona power plants goes to a central hub in phoenix Arizona and from there is distributed thru Arizona and California. So it's hard to say if power from this plant is supplying holbrook or Joseph city because it all get's mixed up in phoenix. But I do know that unit one at cholla has direct power lines to towns on the reservation. So, yes this plant does supply parts of Arizona.
And as for your comment scenicplaces. I don't ever wish for solar power.. if that ever becomes the primary source of electricity can you imagine how many solar farms that would take to supply most of the U.S? And can you imagine how much that would cost to build those? And can you imagine how much that would cost us in our electric bills? The price of building them has to be passed off to someone..

I see we have similar interests on both coasts. Excellent foto. A well deserved YSL. A commenter from another foto of this old boat explained how this was her father's boat and that he purposefully beached it once it reached the end of usefullness as a fishing vessel. It lives on with another purpose. Greetings, Michael

I took a similar image during a biz trip to Portland. I liked the archtectuire of this building but didn't have any particulars. Thank you for revealing its name. Like Greetings from California, Michael
