'The Emporitans were living previously on an island across, which is now called the Old City, but now they live on the continent. It is a double city, defined by a wall, earlier having some of the Indiketans inhabiting there, who, although had their own political system, they preferred to have a common surrounding defensive wall with the Greeks for security reasons, which was double because in the middle was separated by a wall.
