That beach requires no beach permit on foot. It is a driving beach which requires a permit for your 4x4 truck. Unfortunately, during summer the beach is like a parking lot with hundreds of jackassses with their trucks. The other beaches of Brigantine do require a beach permit, however only during the summer months. By the way, that beach is very cool at night, because the lights of Atlantic City are just over the water, the Absecon Inlet.
