Shaarei Tfiloh synagogue. Once part of a thriving Jewish community (and featured in the Barry Levinson movie "Liberty Heights"), the building is now mainly used just for High Holy Day services and special occasions.
Rabbi Vitzik came to the US in 1939, escaping the Holocaust. He established this Synagogue in 1960, and has had a ongoing congregation since then.
The building is in use now as Misifta D'Baltimore yeshiva, with Rabbi Lurie as Rosh HaYeshiva.
Rabbi Vizik passed away in 2000.
