I watched the same show that ATFcarib saw and I started to get a little sceptical when they said the island was 400 Miles from the mainland because any island less than 1000 miles from the pacific coast of South America was discovered hundreds of years ago already and documented thoroughly over the years. The show was one in a generic series called "After Armageddon" I fell asleep and did'nt see them ever find the monolith and thats why I started looking on Google Earth. The main researcher was as ATFcarib had said, very misleading and sensationalizing the island when it was'nt at all necessary. All he had to do was spend most of the show at the site of the supposed monolith that the ancient mayans had left but instead he and his partner tried pulling off some kind of sensationalized garbage like two schoolboys on a fantasy treasure hunt in there backyard :)

disculpa la tardanza,pero no habia visto tu comentario,hace ya un tiempo de la la foto,pero la posicione segun lo recuerdo espero no andar muy errado, igual vi tus fotos y me parecieron muy buenas, me ayudara a da con el puente colgante del carihueico, y esperpo recorrer el tramo que me falta del rio, y me da el cuerpo llegar hasta chepu,saludos!!!!!!!!
