I like taking photos of the areas or sides of the city where not many people go or see, in other words, the real side of the city, not the tourist locations, that's why in many of my photos you see rough run down areas, i want the people to know that they need to live in a place to really know how life is.

Meglio che si buttano giu' dal sesto piano giacchè son poveri...ha ha ha ha ha ... come in Italia, un paese perfetto di bancarotta.
It's not a playground. The area isn't dirty, but the people throw cans after eating and drinking.I lived there 17 years ago,my husband passed away in that building (stroke). It's a hostel for students. There were also thieves drilling a huge hole at the back of this building stealing computers many years ago.Of course,Lugano is no longer a dreamed paradise like once, you can unlock your house even at night. Now You have to be careful even when you're awake. Not only Lugano, unfortunately, even in other places worldwide.Anyway,it's good to show this photo.

"ruined" è opinabile. ma "historic buildings" è inaccettabile.
cmq alcune foto sono interessanti. hanno stile. mi piace il lato underground&brozzo delle città.
e per finire: ora e sempre, lugano merdA!
guarda che questi non sono corvi!

It's Lugano not Locarno, nice photo
Dear Tony Resta. Thank you for your comment on our building. In the meantime (winter 2009) we did repaint the exterior of the building, did install video surveliance around the building, and for now, no more graffities have been written on the wall. I hope the walls will stay clean for a long time to come. Best regards from Lugano.
