I think good planning for postion and timing helps take some of the luck out of wildlife photography. Yes I was using a hide and the set-up I use is Canon 50D, Sigma 150-500.

Thank you, it was taken at Bempton Cliffs, Yorkshire. It just drifted up on the updraft of the cliffs just in front of my camera, very lucky.
