I enjoy stopping here as I travel, but on May 17, it was not open. It might be too early in the season. I was surprised to see that the nearby Glendale Springs Inn is for sale.

Nice camera angle. I was at this intersection three days ago, getting on the Parkway to go to The Cascades and to West Jefferson.

Great photo, Steve! Excellent place to use this technique. It looks like the covered dock extends all the way to Raleigh! (Grin.)
