Great photo! I'm a geologist that works with sediment cores from Deep Inlet. I'd like to show this photo, and some of your other Deep Inlet images, in a geology research talk I'm giving at the US Geological Survey in Menlo Park, CA. May I have permission to do so? If so, I'll be sure to credit you.

Sincerely, Dr. Jason Addison (please use official email for response to jaddison@usgs.gov)

I am a member of Alliance for Access to Sitka's Streams and Forests. Redoubt has been slated for conveyance to a private company that can sell it or keep the public off it and prevent fishing. Our group wants to preserve access. The corporation is Sealaska corporation, an alaska native corporation--it is not a tribe, but a business.

I love maps too. It's funny how you mix English with Hungarian :D I know it's nem szabad but I don't know when I'll have the opportunity to travel there. This summer (you might already know) I'm going to the USA again then school starts in September. What's coming after that is a mystery because my graduation is getting closer. cheers, archrodney!
