If you zoom in on the far corner of Llyn Llydaw you can see the edge of Llyn Teryn, The Lake of the Ruler. Not quite sure why this one is so popular, but I've added a similar but slightly different view of this to the collection that shows off Glaslyn to better effect.

Great photo of a truly beautiful location - you have captured the isolation and the heart of Cwm Llan in this picture.
Did you know the Royal Marine Commandos used this location to train for the beach landings in 1944? The old buildings still carry the marks from the live amunition.

Nice photo - the sheerness of it is quite intimidating really.

Very nice photograph of Llyn Lydaw, you can make out the casueway and the Miners Track climbing upto Glaslyn on the left. The rock 'frame' ads a goos perspective. Thanks for sharing.

Yes we did, it was great fun in the snow! If you haven't done it before though I would recommend waiting until a day with good weather. It's not too dangerous though as long as you're careful. Give it a go though, it's a fantastic ridge! I'm a big fan of the Watkin path too.

Nice Photo. The water is very still and the reflection is good. I have only walked across this bridge once but your photo has reminded me I need to revisit. Thanks for sharing the picture. I also noticed it was taken on New Years Eve.

Fair Comment. If you get to traverse Grib Goch good luck with it. I would anticipate the views to be spectacular in good weather. I was considering a few more walks to get a better all round understanding (experience) before setting foot on Grib Goch. Then it would be an early start and good weather. Regards
