This is the lock on the river Nene by Hardwater Mill. "Hardwater crossing" was/is the old level crossing on the dismantled railway next to the flooded gravel pits (Now Summer Leys Reserve) The old railway line is now used for a gravel conveyer. (Be careful of the lorries!)

These two trees are located in the wetland area between Callala Bay and Benton Sands, Callala Beach. This area is earmarked as the Callala Creek Bushland Reserve in a Joint Project by Callala Bay and Callala Beach Progress Associations.

Bicentennial Park is located in Callala Bay. This is the new bridge that crosses Callala Creek. Across the Creek is Callala Beach. This is a popular spot for swimming, fishing and picnicing

Callala Creek Nature Reserve is situated between Callala Beach and Callala Bay. As area well worth preserving.
