These photos were taken on my walks in the Berkeley hills north of the University. The camera is a Pentax K10 dSLR which is too heavy for daily walks; it comes out only when I am really in the mood to shoot. The shots start as 16bit RAW images which are then sweetened in Photoshop.

Just an FYI but they are Sycamore trees not Oaks. :)
The trail starts at the northern-most edge of the park and climbs up well over 100 feet to Tamalpais Rd. When you reach the road, turn right and follow it a quarter mile to the Rose Walk trail and back down to Euclid and the park. The climb is hard and the walk back down is your reward.
