I might post some more here, Rosa, after all we've still got 2.5 weeks before panoramio dies a death. At the moment I only post one or two photos on Ipernity per week. There are only 4 pages of them over a period of 2 years. This will soon change of course. ;-)

Hello Amelia, Yes here at our home we are ok from the storm, BUT the entire towns and counties all around are devastated. My town had power outages ALL OVER, my street/highway was the only place in town with power after "Mathew" flew by. The Power Company where our son is an engineer, is still trying to get people back on with electricity, its the worst damage in history for them. They cover several counties of consumers! It has been a daunting task and is not over for them.

:)) Im not sure when I will get around to posting shots on ip. (cake:) ) all that is another daunting task,,, FOR ME:)) maybe soon, but so much else going on for us at the time.

Thank you so much Roger. Sad indeed to see Pano go and G+ is no substitute! I don't like it at all. I am staying on there for the time being just to keep in touch with Pano friends but will see you on flickr, although I don't upload so much on there either. Many from here have gone on to ipernity...I am trying it myself and the early signs are good :) I actually have not seen that episode of Time Team but will look it up.

Veľmi pekne ďakujem za všetok strávený čas pozeraním mojich fotiek, daním hodnotenia ako aj pozretia mojich článkov alebo videií. Veľmi si vážim toho, že mi panoramio pomohlo spoznať krásu sveta prostredníctvom úžasných ľudí a ich pohľadov na svet. Pre nedostatok času ohodnotím len 1 fotografiu z galérie Like + Favourite a keď mi zvýši ešte čas, vrátim sa pozrieť ďalšie fotky. Bolo by mi však ľúto, keby pre nedostatok času, nikto nevidel moje úsilie z päťdesiatich letných výletov - preto tu je výber toto najlepšieho z leta 2016.

Hello KC, there is a mapping facility on ipernity. I think it takes a while to find and get used to another site. You could always try it out and if you don't like it, then delete it. I agree with you about G+. Rosa
