This particular building became a racquetball court and a sauna/shower area with a storage room. I don't believe it was ever an administration building.

I heard those rumor too. It's funny how misunderstood the base was. I went to the public school both in Ciutadella and Ferrerias and I was constantly bombarded with questions about a submarine refueling station to a nuclear missle silo. I had many birthday parties up there and invited all my Menorcan friends and their families....even after a tour of the complete base some were still not convinced it was a telecommunication site. -Michael Young

This building was used as the post office, it had restrooms and was used as an office building by various people at the base. I was there 1988-1992, my father Dennis Young was the powerplant supervisor when the base was turned over to civilian contractors. The building in the picture is attached to the barracks.
