Streets do seem deceptively narrow in photos. The way Nottingham combines purposely placed nature in the core streets is a positive motivator to everyone.

Somebody once asked me to meet them in front of the lions in the market square. I had been in market square many times but hadn't really noticed any lions. Without colour they aren't very distinctive and blend into the surroundings.

farmbrough

farmbrough I take photographs for a living, but also enjoyment. Most of my work is scenic, architectural, or of events. I do some art pictures which are on my other site at RedBubble: http://www.redbubble.com/people/farmbrough/art I started taking pictures when very young, but got involved with photography seriously when I was about twelve years old when I went on a course run by my youth club, and had a lot taught to me by a man called Gaby (wish I knew his last name). This led to a series of about 80 colour slides of North West London, circa 1979. I will one day scan them, but currently have a backlog of pictures I took in July '08 to March '09 while living in England, before moving to the USA.
