I moved to Edmonton, Alberta from my native Philippines when I was 17 and now call Canada my second home. I moved to Miami after graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Biology in 1999, and I am currently the senior research technician and lab manager for the Periphyton Lab at Florida International University in Miami, Florida. I have been with the same lab for more than ten years, and I'm happy to say, I love my job and the people I work with.
This page contains a collection of photos over the years that I have travelled (usually with my wife Carrie) between Canada, the U.S. and (in 2010) the Philippines. I first used a Pentax Optio digital camera, gradually moving on to a Canon Powershot A710is, before purchasing a Canon Eos Rebel Xsi with 100mm macro usm, 18-55mm, and 55-250mm lenses.
