One of my favourite cities in Istria is Rovinj , the old town peninsula (which used to be and Island) is according to my personal opinion, one of the most beautiful old towns parts in Croatia. If you want to see the whole old town it should take you about 3-4 hours, start at the small marine and take a walk along the water until you hit the peak of the peninsula, where you have the Church of St. Eufemija, if you are not afraid of heights you should visit the church tower (10 kuna entrance fee), there is excellent view on the old town part from here. Once you have seen the church, you can continue down through the small streets where.
Here is all our pictures from Rovinj

The Camp Galeb in Omis , is an excellent camp for a camping holiday in Croatia with kids, the sandy beach is really excellent, and what also find quite nice, is that waters are low, so you can easily walk 50 meters out. As a great plus the camp offer entertainment 6 days a week, for the adults there is water gymnastics and Aerobics, for the smaller once, there are games and of course a mini disco. The prices at the camp are fair, and the camp is in waking distance from the city, so you have plenty of stuff to do.
Here you can see some more photos from Galeb

I would recommend everyone who are making holiday Croatia , especially in mid Dalmatia to visit the National park Krka, in terms of nature the park is a blast, at the upper part you have the beautiful lake, with the small Island, and In the mid part you have the ethno village and the walking paths along the water falls, once you are finish your walk around the park, you can take a nice refreshing swim below the waterfalls.
I would recommend taking the boat from Skradin, which is a 20-30 minute sailing trip to the bottom of the waterfalls, from here you can follow the walking paths around the park.

As you can see on this picture Split actually has some quite nice beaches, you can choose between Rock, pebble and Sand beaches. Here you can check out our guide to thebeaches in Split. In summer the beaches in Split are crowded especially in the morning and late afternoon, reason for this is that the Croatians are fully aware of the dangers of the noon sun, often tourist visiting Croatia, seams to ignore the warnings? I have seem some pretty bad sun burns so I can for sure be recommend to stay away from the beach I time from 10 am to 3 pm.
