Thank-you for your heartfelt comment. We have had terrible days in our peaceful surroundings, but be sure that all support from abroad means a lot! Tidlig på 1900-tallet var det en liten dyrehage på St. Hanshaugen, blant annet med en norsk og en svensk bjørn som ble vist fram. Derav navnet "Bjørnehuset" som i dag leies ut av Bydelen til private selskaper.
Shortly after 1900 the was a small zoo at St. Hanshaugen. Among the animals were a Norwegian and a Swedish bear. Therefore this house is called The Bears' House.

På baksiden av St. Hanshaugen, "Bakhaugen" er det fortsatt skog langs Collettsgate.
At the rear side of the St. Hanshaugen park, there is still a feeling of forest - in the center of Oslo!
