When I was nine years old I use to go with my dad on oil well service jobs when he worked for Dowell based out of Kermit TX. We would stop in Orla with anywhere from five to ten black and orange Dowell service trucks. I remember a place called the Long Branch that was made up of glass bottles. Or I think I do. That was 50 years ago.
