Brought up in Wallasey. Once described to me as the "Rock Center of the UK". I travel around quite a bit as part of my work. I carry a laptop and sometimes an overnight bag so I do not have room to carry an SLR, associated kit, tripod. Instead I make do with a digital compact that I can slip into a pocket. The downside is that the images are not as good as they could be and so I apologise in advance.

I am glad it was of interest; it is in a very attractive part of town.

Almost as if the tower is not there

Yes a series of winter storms have kept the air in Eastern Idaho very clean so far this winter.

When wintertime high pressure develops, the valleys tend to fill up with ice fog, but with the growth in population it is sometimes more smoke than fog.

The mapping is off on this photo - the stone is located in the corner of the grounds, not in front of the Civic Building.

Thank you Leo.

I think the minimal colour and the effects produced by scanning the original image make the picture.

Wonderful shot, it's very nice.

Greetings from Colombia, Jose Daniel.

Well, I hope they choose a better colour scheme for the new span.
