Brought up in Wallasey. Once described to me as the "Rock Center of the UK". I travel around quite a bit as part of my work. I carry a laptop and sometimes an overnight bag so I do not have room to carry an SLR, associated kit, tripod. Instead I make do with a digital compact that I can slip into a pocket. The downside is that the images are not as good as they could be and so I apologise in advance.

Many thanks Richard. You are spot-on about this part of Wyoming - stunning landscapes in every direction. The area looks desolate, but it speaks to the soul. I wish I could have had a better camera with me and more time while I was there - you could point in any direction and another striking scene would come into view.

Many thanks Richard. This was taken back in 2002. The resort was already established by then and it was quite crowded. Still, we had a great time there and I would go again.
