pscope's conversations

Paul thatnks for your kind comments. These two sets of photos were incorporated when I was new at uploading photos. As indicated in my first comment Kangaroos on Building slab and Tracking station caretakers are the same photo. There is nothing achieved having duplicates. See also Tracking Station Sign 0.5m to west (duplicate photos).

see: www.honeysucklecreek.net/other_stations/orroral/index.htm A STADAN antenna: Satellite Tracking and Data Acquisition Network.

Mostly from Richmond RAAF base, Hercules and Globemaster acft.

Sorry pscope, my earlier email should have said that the building entrances are sealed up.

This Radio Telescope was located at Honey Suckle Creek Space Tracking station site, near Top Naas (South of Canberra) for the Moon Landings. It was relocated here after NASA closed down Honey Suckle Creek and Orroral Valley tracking stations. Concrete slabs remain there.

Australian Square Kilometre Array Site

Looks like Orroral Valley Space Tracking Station site. Buildings now removed. Used during Apollo landings on the Moon in 1960's. Obscured by clouds. Location not identified in Wikipedia.
