You are correct in your opinion. These Miller folks are very conservative and content in their new community here in Central NYS - 2 generations removed from Holmes County, OH. via Jamestown environs in western NYS. Biblical separation determines their lifestyle, as it does mine.

As far as inheriting the earth is concerned, I believe they are far more concerned with the Heavenly Kingdom than the Earthly one.

It looks like you are a HDR fan as well as I.

We have had an Amish incursion all about the old pond in the last several years. Just south of this intersection was the site of an HDR episode 2 weeks ago. Dense clouds mottled the earth, making the light play very challenging. Hope you enjoy the "Amish haystack" collection.
