This medium clearly exhibits one's innermost character. The opportunity for constructive expression has always been the best quality of the photographic discipline. Digital imagining allows a freedom never seen before - for the common man, that is. The Good Book says "Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks." My app : "Out of the abundance of the heart, the image reverberates." May we all use this venue for the good of mankind.

Joyce, your pictures are great...My grandfather lived @ Bradley Brook and Pleasant for many years. This area was a big part of my childhood as we spent almost every weekend there with him. Thanks for sharing these beautiful photos.

Hey, Jim,
You are correct in your opinion. These Miller folks are very conservative and content in their new community here in Central NYS - 2 generations removed from Holmes County, OH. via Jamestown environs in western NYS. Biblical separation determines their lifestyle, as it does mine.
As far as inheriting the earth is concerned, I believe they are far more concerned with the Heavenly Kingdom than the Earthly one.
It looks like you are a HDR fan as well as I.
Where are you located ?
Dave

Hey, Joyce,
We have had an Amish incursion all about the old pond in the last several years. Just south of this intersection was the site of an HDR episode 2 weeks ago. Dense clouds mottled the earth, making the light play very challenging. Hope you enjoy the "Amish haystack" collection.
