Gran foto, una bonita combinación

Hi Hugy, Fours years on I see your response to my comment on Flinders Island. I feel honoured to have your photo entitled 'Rowan's world'. Yes, I would love to see your other photos. Maybe you can tell me when they are on the site (rjp1@iinet.net.au), as I don't often visit this site. I have some photos on the '500PX' website. You should have a look if you haven't already. Your photos would be good on this site. Hope you are still taking pictures. Regards. Rowan

Thanks for this post! It helped me locate Milanesia Beach, and provided far better images of the beach than the one provided in the recent story:

Hi , Your Strzelecki series of photos are wonderful.I especially like your use of a wide format for them, as they expand out vividly on my wide screen monitor. It amazes me that more people havn't discovered this part of Australia. Bye for now.

The original goldminers' trail to the diggings at Moke Creek and the upper Shotover from Queenstown sidled down the sunny slope to the right from this spot, the Ben Lomond Saddle. The old trail can still be followed today. It offers a circular walk from Queenstown to Arthurs Point above the Shotover and back to Queenstown. A great day's trek.
