... A great picture of Opalton, over 100 ks south of Winton. Many an interesting story has been told over the years about this area, where a few are busy mining for opals. Some want to be known and others don't ! I have noticed on Google Earth that the location for OPALTON is marked only a few ks south of Winton, which is wrong and would like to see it changed. The exact point is, 23 14 37s 142 45 28e I'm not sure how to tell Google Earth. All through this area was just stunning !!
