Wonderful angle, I hope you enjoyed the hike.
It's a cold December day but you wouldn't know it from the bare ground and green vegetation between the blueberry rows. Periodic outflow winds from the Rockies can plummet the temperature by 20C or more from an otherwise balmy climate. On the left, four peaks of the Cheam Range (from left to right Mount Cheam, Lady Peak, Knight Peak, and Welch Peak) are prominent over much of the Fraser Valley. In the center, the balding summits of Elk Mountain and Mount Thurston offer a good day hike from the community of Ryder Lake and views over Chilliwack and the Fraser Valley. Further right is the spire of Mount Slesse. Look for the flock of over wintering Trumpeter Swans flying above the RV and Golf Resort. Above the geese is Mount McGuire. Furthest right is a ridge line of Church Mountain. In front of and below this is the ridge which rises up to form Vedder Mountain, an abrupt border to the farm lands.
Very nice shot!
Good Luck for contest!
Best regards from Changhong Chen!
The road comes to an end on the American side of the border. There is an outpost there but I'm not sure of the protocol for crossing. I believe there would be customs and immigration requirements and also requirements for accessing a National Park facility.

good mix of the old B.C. and the power lines representing the progress in this part of the world.
