I can assure everyone that this is Penton Hook Lock looking towards Staines. It has recently been refurbished which this photo shows. The towpath is on right out of shot. The weir is also out of shot behind the Lock Keeeper's Head in the white shirt.

Very nice lighting on this. I like it! (I am amazed that after so many viewings (189) there are no more comments than mine) If you keep taking pictures of this calibre you soon will have a real following. Herb
