Hi BMW, I'm not sure if i answered you in the past, but the road over the Lukachukai Mountains is now paved. It's the equivalent of a country road, and has some nice steep curves a few miles out of Lukachukai. I hope your ride was good and enjoyable.
I'm not sure why people think this is mislocated... I have checked it on the newest google earth and coordinates 31° 50' 11.42" N 110° 20' 57.39" W takes me right to the location... the google map on the panoramio page also appears to show the correct location. If you think it's misplaced, please list the coordinates you have for it and I will check it out.

so nervous crossing thru here I was shaking - sandy - no one for miles around 500 + pound bike
