To me, photography is about capturing an image that you don't want to vanish in oblivion. Every capture keeps an image alive in your mind and, wishfully, in your soul. It also caresses the photographer's ego, just to let others know that he/she has actually witnessed that minuscule fraction of time and space of an infinite universe.
