I,TSGT Ed Evans, from 1972-1976 worked in the lab at Clark AFB this was an excellent place to learn tropical laboratory medicine...I cannot believe that the facility is abandoned and layed to waiste! A few day ago I viewed on the Sci-fI channel that a team of ghost hunters toured the abandoned hospital... so many memories were recalled ! It is just unbelievable that this facility is abandoned and left to waste....

But the photo is a panoramic view, stitching two pictures, and the view encompasses Ma Tat's and Footlights, so I thought it appropriate to put the market more to the center.

This should have been spelled "BAYANIHAN", after bayan, town or community to its compound meaning making a community or home spirit.

The Bayanihan spirit comes naturally to the Filipinos to build their towns and homes and to extend warm welcome to and to share with guests.

The closest words to connect to it are the words of English "hospitality" and the German "Gemütlichkeit".

Welcome to our warm and wonderful Philippines!
