L'itinéraire classique démarre à la station de la Pierre Saint Martin en empruntant une large piste, bifurque à gauche un peu avant la cabane de Pescamou, remonte à une autre cabane métallique (où l'on voit un sentier venant du col routier) puis arrive à une bifurcation. Là on peut partir vers l'Est (Col des Anies) ou vers le Sud : Pic d'Anie. On ne passe pas en Espagne sauf si l'on choisit des variantes.

Thanks. This town is one of the biggest "bastide" (a fortified new town built during the medieval period, here : XIIIth) of the French South West. The bridge date from the foundation of the town but it has been refurbished and its three originals defensive towers have unfortunately been demolished.
