Da ich in Frankfurt wohne, nutz ich halt diese Seite um mich an der Bilddoku zu beteiligen. Tips, wo es was zu fotografieren gibt. Auch wenn ich hier nicht am Speicherplatz sparen muß, denke nicht das ich die Bilder in der Originaldatei hochladen muß. Bildschirmgröße und mittlere Auflösung reicht doch. Hier geht es nicht darum, Pseudoprofibilder zu liefern um zu demonstrieren, was ich doch für klasse Bilder mache. Es geht darum, zu zeigen, wie es vor Ort aussieht und was es da an Motiven gibt. Dafür reicht auch eine Flachdigi. Auf den Meter genau muß ich nicht immer platzieren, wer hingeht, wird seine Motive schon selbst finden.

I was there from 1973-1974 with the 564th MP Co. They stuck our entire company in one room in the attic which I believe was the 4th floor, the little round windows you see at the top of the building were our only windows. We had about 6 people in the company and about 40 brand new jeeps. We were part of the 709th MP's.
All army replacements came through here and I was sent to Permasans on the French border where the 564th was last known to be, for over a month they could not find where my company was located so I was stuck with no company in a room where replacements came through. Every few days my roommates would change. Eventually they found out the 564th was in the empty prison in the back corner of the Gutleut Kaserne. You would think the 15th Replacement Bn. would know that the 564th MP's were in the same place, but this is the Army after all, even though this kaserne is not that big. The entire company was on drugs and ripped everyday as we had nothing to do, it was a disbanded company with only 6 people and a big redhead redneck first sergeant for company commander. His last name was Dye from W.VA. he was an ahole. Smoked hash everyday and ate Mandrax like candy. We traded our liquor rations to a German guy for Mandrax, he came every month to buy everybody's extra cigarette and liquor rations. It ended up $10 per 100 for 250mg Quaaludes. Little Willie Gomez could eat more Quaaludes than anybody by far.
